Features like Clipboard Transcription and audio transcription run locally on your computer. If you add material to your knowledge base, it gets processed and synced with the cloud — just like on the mobile app.

We’re also building Voicie Bridge — a small device that lets you capture thoughts with a single click, without pulling out your phone. It’s in the prototype phase.

Your data, your control

Data privacy is a topic we take seriously. On the desktop app, features like Clipboard Transcription and audio transcription run locally — your audio recordings never leave your computer during transcription. Cutting-edge local models work directly on your disk. Processed transcriptions and materials added to your knowledge base are synced with our cloud so they’re available across the app.

If you want control over AI costs, you can connect your own API key (BYOK — Bring Your Own Key) and pay directly with OpenAI. We’re working on integrations with additional providers.

How does Voicie build context for the future?
